with the new genome discovering gene? human genome project, sequencing the genome for human and other species (specially models used in labs [rats, etc])

DNA technology discusses the tools so far to be able to analyze the DNA

if you have DNA and no enzymes to cut the dna and make the chlorine then what’s the point?

before, we didnt know what to do with the dna

during the human genome project, a new technology on dna was also being developed to manipulate the dna

now that we know it’s stupid

we know the sequence, meaning we can do sequencing (we can take any dna, and know exactly what it is + the location of the gene)

to distinguish all of that, the technology

it’s possible now to sequence, it’s also possible to digest dna by ??? enzymes

• they cut dna is specific places (to some dna, some may not be as specific)
  • helpful in research
