difference between histopathlogy and exeropathology?
histology → sutdy of normal tissue
histopathology → study of disease of tissue
- most common example is cancer
- can it be diagnosed?
- it can only be detected by analyzing the tissue sample
- we have to determine what’s wrong with the patient
- in the case where a patient comes against comlaining about stomach (gastric endoscopy to take a biopsy; used to rule out if there is any cancer detected or not )
- that’s why we have to go for biopsy
